Elite is charging for mail now?

Elite email is free and won't be deactivated---AS LONG AS YOU USE IT AT LEAST EVERY THREE WEEKS.
hushmail.com who powers the elitefitness.com email system is having some financial issues and is working hard to make sure their company remains profitable. I think you would agree that the world is a better place with their encrypted email service.
Here's hush's policy with regards to deactivated email accounts:
A user has access to free email, the user's account will remain active as long as they uses it. If the user does not access the account for three weeks then the account will be deactivated.
Once an account is deactivated, the user will no longer be able to access the account, mail sent to the account will also be bounced.
The users emails, contacts, and other data stored in the account remain intact. Once the user upgrades they have access to the mail again with all of the additional benefits of upgrade.
The benefits of upgrading are not insignificant. You get all of the following:

I think what Mr. Spellman is trying to say is that if you are a cheap ass, like me, you can keep your little account as long as you log in every 3 weeks.
However, there are definitely benefits that go along with upgrading which include operating revenue for Elite Fitness / Hushmail and that helps keep both of these fine sites up and running and paying their bills.
