Elite at work??--help me

Anyone have a password they would be so kind as to share for the $49.95 version of anonymizer?

I know my days at my job are numbered because of my surfing.

Let me put it to you this way.
If you go through a proxy server or a firewall, everything is logged that goes in and comes out.
With the way the economy is going, the layoffs, cutbacks, and everything else. If I were CFO, CIO, COO, or CEO. The first thing that I would do is pull all the logs and start firing people.
Reason?
It's against company policy to surf on company time, it's not considered a layoff, and it's a good way of down sizing without getting the media attention of layoffs.

There you have it.

In fact, astalavista has cracks for every software you can think of.. and it partially the reason why I have so many thousands of pounds worth..

PM me if you need help in applying the crack...

You may also just find a password...

I can confirm that what maddog said is completely true. The thing is, the bigger the company, the more people have internet access so to actually sift through all the data to find out who is using / abusing the system is an absolutely massive task, unless they have a particular reason to suspect someone, they generally dont bother doing it.

I AM A NETWORK ADMIN and yes they are probably logging your activity if the montor mail they probably monitor web usage its very simple to do and anything you do over a network connection can be logged down to the words you type in a search engine. I can see what songs people download with napster or what they search for or imed BUT I don't usualy review where and when peeps go to what site UNLESS I notice Internet related problems or High Bandwidth usage. But it's kinda hard NOT to see what peeps are doing I mean its right their who went where when for how long and Graphs it out on a dynamic chart Pretty cool software actually But I TRY to give employees privacy and I really dont care what there doing as long as there not screwing stuff up I'm no tatle tale it does bother me when peeps complain about there workstation messing up when I know for a fact there not working there playing but then again what am I doing right this second. Bottom Line be careful you can and probably are being logged without many people knowing. Dont do anything you wouldnt do In front of your boss and youll be safe.

GaTeCrAsHeR2000 = Maddog67 Your wrong not every company monitors web usage and definetley not every company uses a firewall alot do not. I am a outside consultant on the side and many many companies dont even have a firewall and allow everyone access to the internet youd be suprissed at how loose some of the bigger companies REALLY are... heeehee but they dont tell employees that but technically its another story.

Another thing is IT IS VERY EASY TO MONITOR ALL NETWORK TRAFFIC REAL TIME meaning I can see someones Network activity as they do it, I have alota other stuff to do though like.... post on elite ... Just be carefull dont do it too much dont give the IT dept any grief and dont d/l big files escp mp3

Peace

I agree,....unless they have a reason for going back and checking the logs, then they are not going to bother. I work for one of "large companies" and they WEBSENSE almost everything. It was cool when we first got internet access since we could access anything. But, some people starting abusing it, and downloading pics and E-mailing them. That is what was the easiest for them to nail you. It is very easy for them to run an "E-mail audit". Well,....when they found all of the "non-company" material that was being circulating via E-mail, They starting searching the internet logs. They sent out a message clearly stating what was considered OK to use the internet for, and basically started to WEBSENSE everything else. Now, I can't access shit. Even ELITE is WEBSENSED, can you believe it?? So,...now I can only surf ELITE from home........... Later.............

How about SAFEWEB?? Does anyone now if this hides the sites you accessing?? I started using www.safeweb.com when they WEBSENSED Elite at work. It would let me access the ELITE site, so everything was cool. Then, I guess quite a few people had my idea and management go wind of it, so they WEBSENSED the safeweb site. So,...now I have to suffer through the whole day with no ELITE.
