Effexor?

Has anyone been prescribed this med? Heard some nasty things such as impotence, rapid weight gain, nasuea, etc.......any effects?

This along with a lot of the other antidepressants on the market can cause some bad side effects the first few weeks you are on it. I never heard of a limp dick, but it does make it almost impossible to finish. You can be going for three hours and it just won't happen.

As for weight gain, I never noticed that with anyone, but I did notice that myself and others had a lack of appetite.

Also sleep can be trouble for the first few days, but it's not that bad.

I take it everyday, at 75mg/day there are no sides at all. 150mg/day and up impotence kicks in hard.

Ive been on Effexor for 8 months now and yes it does cause some sexual side effects its cut my libido in half since starting it. Another tip dont forget to take your pill you'll get dizzy like you were punched in the face and your lights are going in and out.

Been taking it at 150 mg ed for about 6 months.....

It makes me gain a bit of weight, and also some water, I think due to its effect on ADH. But it's not too bad, certainly nothing like Remeron. Now, that's the devil as far as weight gain.

I took it before, although it was extremely effective at killing all feelings, both good and bad, it did have some sides. Mainly, I could'nt cum, when masterbating or having sex. My dick worked but it was pointless at have sex after a while.
