ok, not quite in Philly, but close....

anyone up for Dorney Park sometime this summer? gf ordered 2 tix already (think it's cheaper to order online). been years since i've been there.

only weekend i'm not good is a weekend late in july. going out to Mid-Ohio for AMA races. i believe it's the second to last weekend.
 
hey, allentown is 2 1/2 hours for me, so don't complain.

you can stand around and wait for everyone else to get off the coasters. my girlfriend will be doing the same thing as well unless she decides not to chicken out and actually get on them.

no, you don't have a chance with her.
 
What does it cost for a Dorney Park ticket nowadays? I remember when it cost $25 per person for the whole day. I'll bet it's a little more today...

$40 and change per ticket if you order online.

not sure what they charge at the gate.

i'm gonna keep bumping this bitch up until A) it gets made into a sticky or B) you all wuss out.

my gf will be along for the trip.

And I was serious about the vacation because I haven't been down there in 8 years and was going to PM you about how it is now. Although, I did have devious intentions of segueing to the phone convo between Fruity Zionist and yourself.

I wouldn't say that.....I'm all in for a meetup but Dorney Park is 2 1/2 hours of pure hell driving for me so by the time I'd get there I'd be soo freakin po'd......anway I'm like Bjorkbox -- I hate rollercoasters.....

Let's meet at a bar or something....

2 1/2 hours for me as well. it's not bad, i'm actually used to the drive down that way now (as long as i'm going 85mph the whole way i'm content).

i'm not driving 3 hours to philly to go to a bar and have 2 or 3 drinks. if i can coordinate it with one of my other trips into the area, however, then no problem, but i've posted before that i'm hitting the area and no one is willing to take me out to dinner, so i don't see anything happening any time soon.

if anyone does wanna go to Dorney some time this summer, PM me i guess. my tix should be here soon, good anytime throughout the summer as far as i know.

Friday June 4th is my next planned trip down that way. my whole afternoon is planned. getting the electric and gas turned back on in the house sometime between 12-5, and meeting with the realtor at 230 at the house to finalize paperwork. the house is near Willow Grove. dunno if Barbara is going to be with me or not that day, chances are she won't be, but she can try. could use her help cleaning up the house so we can start showing it once it's on the market.
 
on the waterfront...that still does nothing for me. i don't know the city to save my ass, i just try to find ways to avoid it :)
 
Yeah me too......um, the former Delaware Avenue (I think) where all the clubs are.....

All I know is how to get to South Street.....I don't go to Philly much, if at all.....
 
well, just lemme know, it's a week away before i swing through the area again. can't afford to get down there again sooner. i've spent between $200-300 going down there in the past 2 weeks. gotta get more things done on these trips too, can't afford to keep going down every week.
