NFL officials are the finest
focus on an official for a few plays and it's amazing how they manage to be out of the way
the speed on an NFL field is not appreciated until you are there on the sidelines
everybody is fast
and these refs have to negotiate with that movement and watch for offenses
this sort of glaring error is quite rare in the NFL
san diego fans should accept the man's apology

Seriously, if the team that suffered to his decission had any balls and respect for the game, they would put out a statement explaining that mistakes do happen, we are all humans etc etc and chill out those stupid ass hate fans that way.

Originally from GB yes but not living there anymore. The world is my oyster

I understand it's a lifestyle for some but it doesnt mean it's right, especially where accidents and fights are a result of it and some times deaths.

People should just accept it and move on.

yeah it does seem prettty irrelevant in the grand scheme of life.
but overall, USA sports fans are pretty tame in comparsion to others.
hooligans coming to mind, both s.american and british.

Ya, he screwed up... it happens, at least his was a mistake, what about that NCAA game where they flagged the QB for excesive celebration for throwing the football over his shoulder? Now that is BS. That call cost the team the game after a great play. The Chargers not having their key linebacker was key in this loss.... Besides the Broncos still had to score a TD and the 2pt conversion. Even if the call sucked if they were the better team they should have stopped the 2 pt conversion.

Don't get me wrong... YES it SUX and Yes it would have made the win a lot easier for the charges, but its done and over, nothing can be done now. If they focus on that call then they wont be prepared for the next game. Time to move on!!
