"Grunge" is dead and was dead here before it reached NYC, LOL!
There are way too many tree-huggers and WTO Warriors out here for me, though. Everybody just assumes everybody's liberal.
But the landscape is beautiful, and there's a lot to do out here. I love it. We're looking at buiying a house in the not too distant future.

Have you lived through a "winter" yet. It's the only place I've lived in where the weathermen use the term "sunbreaks".

Been here 8 years, including two winters ago, when we had over 90 days of uninterrupted rain.
Winter's rough - I wish we'd at least get some decent snow. All that rain's damn demoralizing.
