Ecdysterone Reviews

I realize this product is flamed on these forums but IMHO the science behind ecdysterone seems to me as promising as topical yohimbine is to weight loss. In other words there's a decent theory directly or indirectly supported by various and assundry studies, and an innovative product is created as the end result. Ultimately people's real world reviews are just as valid a reason to try a product as the alleged science. Amidst all the flaming on this and other forums, at least half the reviews I found that seemed legit were indeed positive.

So... I traded 3 bottles of Syntrabol for some Usnic Acid. I started a week ago taking 1200mg a day. I weigh 156 presently at around 15% BF (according to calipers). I am not going to measure every body part or attempt a double blind study on myself. LOL. I will however give my honest, albeit subjective feedback.

I am presently "lean bulking" - meaning I am eating just barely above my calorie maintenance level (200 cals). I am eating around 50-25-25 (carb-pro-fat) ratio. I am also using creatine, as I have done on every bulking cycle. And at the risk of severe flaming, I must say - thus far I feel like I did when I used topical 1-test! Strength increases on every lift so far, quicker recovery time, less muscle soreness.

So let the flaming begin!!! j/k I will update this thread with my progress. Any other ecdy reviews are most welcomed!
 
EAS makes a product called ecdy max that works pretty good. I dont know if it is the ecdy or the tribulus. But I'm going to get a second bottle, I know that much
 
OK - I've been using this stuff for 2 weeks now and I must admit I am liking it a lot! Strength continues to go up on every lift, faster recovery time, less DOMS, muscles feel fuller. Leg work out was particularly good this week. I'm serious - this totally reminds me of a 1-test cycle!

I know it's not because of over-consuming calories because I actually lost a pound! I have not been tracking my diet as well as I usually do, but I would have expected to gain a pound or two judging by the way I feel (increased strength/fullness/etc). I am going to focus on tracking my diet better and adding a couple hundered cals over maintenance. And I'm working my way up to 2g ED which is way over the recommended 5mg per kg bodyweight. We'll see how it goes.

The only side effects are 1) I feel a little bloated and 2) My wallet is feeling thinner! This stuff aint cheap. But I like my results enough to buy some bulk ecdy from BAC to continue my experiment.
 
I have been lifting weights for 24 years. This product is worthless in my opinion. At least it was for me, it did absoulutely nothing, except make my piss smell funny
 
I tried Ect. from Syntrabol and it didn't do shit for me. Neither did Yohimbine. The only supplements that have ever made a notable difference for me was creatine and 19 nor dio. I suspect that a lot of people that claim these worthless products work are just training harder, haven't trained that long so they are going to make gains anyway, placebo effect, or they are marketing the products. However I realize that everybody is different and that it is possible that some products that won't do shit for me might work for some people.
