ECA and your cycles...

anyone here ever use an eca stack while cycling...how were your results? what were the pros/cons of it....im contimplating it for 4-6 weeks during my test/fina cycle...

I notice that the ECA stack seems to be more potent while on a cycle. This may be due to:
1) enhanced beta receptor sensitivity or increased receptor # in response to androgens.
2) blood concentrations of ECA remain higher during a cycle because your liver is somewhat compromised by anabolics, especially fina or orals.

I always use EC sparingly (25-50 mg, 2 or 3x/wk) on and off a cycle.
 
I do agree with biggerthanu, I do get better benefits from ECA's while on cycle than off cycle-- I stay away from them off cycle because they are somewhat can be detrimental or catabolic.

As far as ECA stack, i simply use Efedrin, which is pure 50mg Ephedrine 50mg tabs and all I can say about it-- this shit is the shit. :p
 
I usa pure ephreda from www.beyond-a-century.com. They sell a powdered version that is VERY potent and very cheap. I put 1/8 of a teaspoon in 16 ox of coffee and start sipping on it (slowly) 2 or 3 hours before my workout. I continue to be buzzed several hours after my workouts. I am very productive at work and at the gym on the days I take ephedra. I still take caffeine (coffee) and tyrosine on the days I don't use ephedra, and this gives me a nice sustained boost throughout the day.
 
I agree the use of ECA stimulants is more productive on cycle vs. off cycle, anything beyond caffeine causes issues for me off cycle.

I'd like to know this too. some have talked about ephedrine's nutrient-partitioning capability, and if anything would increase muscle and cut fat, all other things being equal. don't know about the caffiene tho (and for me all asperin adds to ECA is the jitters).

anybdy know of studies or more concrete info on muscle-building and ephedrine?
 
I have been using ephedra 2 or 3 x/week for the last few years. I always use a low dose. Since using it I have continued to put on size and strength, but you need to incease your calories while using it....obviously. It is also a good idea to take a combination of antioxidants because the use of stimulants can be an oxidative stress to the brain and cardiovascular system.
