Ebay question. What does this mean exactly?

Does this mean they'll accept a CC but "prefers" Paypal? My Paypal is not verified and only goes up to $500. I'm assuming yes they'll accept CC, but wanna make sure. I doubt I'll get a reply now as the auction ends in a few hours.

I'm the high bidder so far and don't wanna get stuck.

the seller is saying that they accept credit cards through their business as well as through paypal - but that doesn't mean they do. A lot of sellers don't know what they're doing and will click those options on just because they think it means the same thing.

There are ways around it, though. If your paypal account is unverified and you win, just pay through paypal without logging in. ( Meaning that you would be creating a new account at time of payment.) Anyone can pay for your auction - it doesn't have to be paid using your id.

OK I won the auction. I was willing to buy it now, but actually won for $30 less. I'll take it. The winning bid was $501 and I DID pay with PayPal totalling $590, but my limit is $500, is it not for an unverified member? PayPal says the transaction is complete for $590, so I guess it's good to go. Anyone?

I tried paying with just a CC, but like you guys said, they only took Visa and by phone and or a check which I was'nt about to do. So I just went with the PayPal. Who knows...

My daughter's gonna flip whn she sees it. Awesome swingset and slide. She LOVES those things. We would go almost daily to the park for that. Now we got one in the backyard! Sweet.

Have you thought about getting your Paypal account verified? That might give the seller some extra assurance too.
