Eating Fruit

Hey just wondering when the best time to consume fruit. For example i now they contain a lot of sugar, my favorite is plums. But id rather eat friut than candy to satisfy my sweet tooth. Im thinking in the morning would be the best but would like some further feed back, Thanks

WELL SHIT, HA HA. ANT SUGGESTIONS ON TAKING AWAY MY SWEET TOOTH. IM 209LBS @ 14%BF. WANNA BE AROUND 8-9%. AM ON A VERY GOOD DIET BUT HAVE A DAMN SWEET TOOTH TO SATISFY

I just cant wait to bulk! When I used to bulk I used to make some pears in the oven! so damn delicious! I would eat easily 15 pears on a single day! Just let the pears be in the oven for around 2hrs 1/2 on low temp.!

I love banana,Mango.....OMG i miss florida mangos:/ GAWD they are so good, papaya:/ SWEET JEEEEEEEEEBUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ strawberries, blueberries sometimes ...........i plan on eating fruit after i lose a few more lbs of fat or somethin,il add a fruit in my diet and than start maintaining .........gotta figure out the maintaining:)............I would eat fruit on my cutting diet but for somereason i love oatmeal so much i rather eat that than a banana:P

Fruit will slow you down in getting to that 8-9%. But if you have to eat it, the earlier the better.

try to eat it with your early meals, it is just like any other carbohydrates when cutting, you want to take them in early so you may burn some of them off. and i wouldnt worry about it, i eat a banana maybe every four days or so while cutting, it is a good source of pottasium and many vitamins and nutrients as we dont get without eating fruits.

110% hows cutting going? progressing? good luch at achieving your goals

actually doofy it is going great. i have lost 18 lbs so far in 8 weeks, prolly 6-8 water, and 10-12 fat with the remaining some muscle, it sure is hard to keep this muscle while cutting haha. also i am able to follow my diet real easy no problems at all, and i am also enjoying one cheat day with around 3 cheat meals on this day of carbs once a week, i now consider them "refeeds" with the newly acquired knowledge from par deus and he is right though, i went from losing no weight one week, carbed up on saturday and when friday came i had lost two pounds. also i got back into cardio doing it 4 times a week, one session hiit cardio, 1 session am cardio, 2 times during the day whenever. i used to hate runnning but when i got myself back into it i feel so good about myself when i walk up that pavement onto my driveway at the end of each run, haha. so yeah going great !

Fruits are essential carbs

Fruits are essential for any strength trainer. Its as simple as that. Fruits contain essential vitamins, minerals and fiber. You can treat them as any other essential carbohydrates for any strength training diet.

Mornings and post workout are good times.

I disagree with this statement. Essential carbs are complex carbs bro

onces your gycerol stores are feel up and u over eat on carbs it can be stored as FAT,so i wouldn;t worry about fruit as much as long as other carbs are complex and shiznits

GOOD WORK 110% wha type of diet you on anyway? 50/30/20?

Yes, but there are fruits such as pineapple that are very high on the GI. I'm just saying that not all fruits are equal.

Carbohydrates in general are essential to any diet.

Also, there is no magnificant difference between simple and complex carbs, only that complex carbohydrates enter the blood stream in a slower rate.

It is known that most simple carbs dont have much nutritional value, but this excludes Fruit indeed.

Not all fruits are bad

sure you get some bad fatty fruits but they arent all bad, Ive been on the BFL challenge for weeks now and im consuming at least one meal with fruit and belive me ive been cutting. I usually have melons, not watermelons or oranges :)

fruit is possibly the worst thing you can eat if you are trying to cut.

not it moderation in my humble opinion.

where else can you find something that is so nutritious for you...is bioactive..full of viatmins..and phyto chemicals, and generally low on the glycemic index.....if chosen stategically.

I am no guru...but bread, and rice are way more unhealthy for you, than a piece of fruit ever will be.

jmo:)

If you want to eat fruit, eat it first thing in the morning and don't eat ANYTHING else for at least two hours afterward and you'll be fine.

not all fruits are made equal (sorry my english sucks today !)

grapes are rich in sugar (avoid them when cutting)
coconut and avocados (yes avocado = fruit) are rich in fat (avoid them when cutting)

but tomato (yes, fruit), berries,... are low fructose, low carbs, low calories, low GI ==> good even when cutting

Where did you hear this from?
- Just curious??? :)

I eat a piece of fruit after every workout. During the weekdays, this is in the evening and I have no problem getting or staying cut. I also consume dried fruit with oatmeal during the day. Don't go overboard and dont' be afraid of the stuff. Enjoy your diet. If you don't, you won't stick with it. Some folks here are so super strict with what is off limits that I wonder how happy they truly are. Use your noggin bud.
