I'm curious about HOW MUCH OF MY protiens / carbs and other vital nutrients are available while in Recovery / Sleep .....after an intense workout.
I eat approximatley 3500 - 4000 cals a day
I consume about 7 meals consisting of 2 shakes and 5 solid meals and snacks all with in 5:00am to 7:00pm
Imediatley after training 8:30pm - 9:00pm I drink Post Workout shake.
From 9:30pm - 11:30pm I will have table spoon of peanut butter and walnuts and one last shake of Caesin protien.
So my question is, since I ate most of my nutrients before my workout session are most of them already used ? ... When i go to sleep and enter rebuilding and recover mode ? ...how much do I have in the tank to help a brother out....
Maybe a better question would be...Is It better to train early in the day and then eat the same way and go to sleep well replenished of nutrients? That is the Question....Sorry !!!!
I understand I do need to EAT to fuel up for the next workout but want to utilize my intake to be as efficient as possible for GROWTH.
Also you might say " Just consume one more meal after my workout" but I do not prefer to eat a solid meal that late and close to bed becuase im trying to be lean as possible.
You knowAs Im pre-viewing the post...im thinking to myself its all an ongoing process and nothing is achieved in one day......My meals that i consume today help me for days to come...I suppose..
