easier to gain muscle after aas use

I think most trainees, even steroid users do not reach there genetic limit. The human body is capable of amazing things.

In 8th grade I used to lift in my room, and I'd bench press on my own(stupid), and one day I decided it'd be smart to go for a max without my dad even in the house. Well long story short, I went for 240 and didn't get it, the bar was pinned on my chest, inching towards my neck. I screamed for help, and the only one there to help me was my mom. She not only lifted the bar, she freaking power cleaned it off me from an angle and tossed the bar across the room. My mom is about 5'4'' 125 lbs. and hasn't lifted anything heavier than an iron her whole life. Now that's getting close to your genetic limit.

^^ That's natural chemical assistance. :)

I have been known, on occasion, to lift more weight than I should while alone. That's the whole reason I don't use clamps of any kind.

No offense, whatever floats your boat, but that sounds like an injury waiting to happen.
How to you gracefully (or fuck graceful, how do you bail out "injury-free") from a 400+ bench press-by letting the plates slide off one side, then quickly compensating and trying to balance heavy end with unweighted end and then let the other side fall off too? Sounds tricky...

My bad, I didn't clarify what I meant. I didn't mean a heavy max bench or anything, I meant a "regular" weighted bench, but to failure. 300lbs isn't hard to ditch at all or maybe I've just been lucky. I've only had to dump it twice or so. I have noone to lift with on Fridays. :(

Well whatever works for you. I guess that better than not working out at all, right? K to you for dedication.

I finished my first cycle about 4 months ago and have seen a good about of strength increases since being off. I think what being on does is help you get your diet and trainning/intensity down to an art form so to speak.. Once you come off, you still have those great habits and because of that it's easier to gain muscle.

I think you can keep certain aspects of your aas usage. I mean, I think the more muscle you gained on - it's easier to attain that again or to keep that muscle mass if you are eating enuff protein etc per day. I think after several years of using a body might get used to the extra muscle or maybe i'm wrong..just seems possible.
