b fold the truth

Elite Strongman
Platinum
Other than my flat bench press feeling weak (no real concern anyway), I am feeling pretty strong.

Speed Flat Bench Press
247 x 3 x 8 sets (varying grips from normal to very close)
45 sec rest between sets

Incline Bench Press (beginning very low from j hooks)
327 x 1
315 x 2

3 Board Press (index finger on smooth)
315 x 5
315 x 3

Dbell Cleans (for rotators)
11' x 15 x 3 sets

Tric Pushdowns
50 x 15 x 2

Overhand Bar Rows
275 x 6
325 x 5
.....first time doing bar rows in a very long time...close to a year

Thick Bar Chins
BW x 6 x 2 sets

Standing Dbell Curls
55's x 6 x 3 sets
.....whoo hooo...did bi's 2 weeks in a row!!!

That is about it...other than it was hotter than a bucket of balls in my garage today. Talk about a sweat!!!

Any thoughts? Ideas? Changes?

pic of me after taking the bar off the j hooks on my inclines

Thats a good training session, your calves look big and ripped in that 1st pic, I remember you posted a calf thread and it must b working.

Dumbell cleans are one of my favorite exercises they really hit the rotators well. I would think that you would do barbell rows more often, we rotate them in and out frequently.

yeah, like cytomel said, you claves do look impressive in the first pic... suprisingly thats also the first time i've seen a pic of a board press. Good workout though.

Calves measured either 17 or 17.5" cold the other day.....probably the smaller. I do have small veins running across the front and back of them though. Yeah...I've done calves once a week along with my event training.

If you look carefully...you can see that the seat of my bench is broken. The wood in it is shattered and it bows when I sit on it...lol.

WOW!!! I'm so proud of you! You actually did the bi curls with more than the 20 lb. dumbbell! :) :) :) :)

haha...you know I'm just messing with you.

Sounds like you had a great workout...wish I could have worked out today (deadlifts) but I can barely walk, much deadlift.

Yeah yeah...so I used the 20's when you were here...or was it the 11's? I can't remember.
