Didn't feel super strong when I woke up this morning. Maybe it was the thunder that kept waking me up all night or the dog scratching at the door wanting in...then out...then back in. :)

Wanted to increase the band tension today to test my speed limits. I think I did it. I wrapped the bands around the bar and extra loop to make it a lot tighter...wow...did it ever make a difference.

Box Squats
275 + heavy bands + medium bands (275+200+100+whatever the extra loop caused)
8 sets of 2 reps, 45 sec rest between sets

Pull Throughs
light bands x 12 x 2 sets

Band Ham Curls
double mini's x 12 x 2 sets each leg

Rev Hypers
BW x 8 x 3 sets

St Calf Raises
BW x 20 x 3 sets

That was it. Had a hard and intense workout. My calves were shakey and it was hard to stop on the drive to work...haha. It also felt funny to give it gas too..lol

Can't quite place it....but that blue band looks familiar for some reason. Glad it is working out for ya.

Dont forget your two week deload phase before St Louis....gotta get the speed back.

Not for sure what I will use for my deload phase. I will be doing another contest in July...4 weeks later...probably.

My speed was not good this week...but was amazing last week when the bands were not extra wrapped.

very nice... i always feel like a retard when doing pull throughs... it looks like a power hump or something.....

thats a lot of band tensions... probaby close to 300-400 lbs total

I started shaving when I was 16...I just like it that way. Have gone a couple of months without shaving a few times...then it just gets to me...so I shave again.

I hate the way that pull throughs look too. You should have seen the look on Night Fly's face when I was doing them...lol.

You should have seen the looks on the people at the commercial gym I was at when I did them...along with zerchers and goodmornings and all the other crap.

Hams are getting VERY tired and a little sore. As you can see in the pic of me doing the band curls...they really work...and hurt a lot. The farther you pull in...the more tension you get. Ouch...

Good fuckin job Bfold. As always i am impressed by your determination and perserverence(sp). Where is your next comp, I might actually go and see if it is on the east coast somewhere...
 
STL May 18th, Lexington KY in June. Back in STL in October.

Not too sore today...just have some tired legs. May do one more week of heavy band tension then decrease the tension for two weeks...
