dying leather shoes

I'm going to buy some white leather creepers, they're pretty cool but I think they'd look better in black or blue. Can they be died? Is it something I have to have someone else do or can I do it myself?

they're like $60

I found them at some local shoe shop that still has boots and shoes (like doc martens, chipawas, etc...) stocked from the early 90's when all that shit was in. They still have monkey boots, if you even know what those are, LOL. They don't make that model anymore so I can't link an image.

I'll probaly head over there right after work, I'll flick a pic of them when i get home and post it.

Go to a leather shop, or boot shop, you have to take the dye off first, you can buy a compound and try it yourself, not sure of the name, then you apply the dye, it shouldn't cost much to just have them do it, they re-dye boots all the time.
