None of us here on the west have received any semblance of proper information from the media on what exactly all this entails. Therefore it's hard for us silly american peeps to comment on this.

But i will say -- i can't fathom why soverign nations want to give their constitutions to others to write for them. It's like having our constitution written by canadians and mexicans. No one would allow that here.

With globalization what happens in Europe, Russia or China has consequences for the farmer in Wyoming as well as the broker in Manhattan.

Strong Europe = more competition, stronger euro/weaker $, less investments in the US, less job creation in the US etc

and if you want to spend your summer vacation visiting Europe I guess you'd rather deal with one currency and 1 visa rather than a couple of them

i didn't vote at all because of the fact that no one really knows what the constitution is all about. it's about 500 pages thick and id bet my last dollar (or should i say euro) that 90% of the people dont know what the hell it's all about.

on another note i still think the netherlands should've gone the UK route; join the EU but NOT use the euro. i'm still upset about that shit.
