Dumbbell standing side laterals = TOUGH

Man Omega these Dumbbell standing side laterals are freaking brutal dude :chomp:

Call me a wuss but I can only handle 10lb dumbbells for the 1st set of 25reps, with nice and slow good form. I do both arms at same time, but question are the dumbbells supposed to drop all the way down to the side of leg perfectly flat against side, or more towards the fronter side area of leg not all the way down ??

When I trained the young man I used to have to stand behind him to force good form on these. his results were def intertwined with form.

do what is natural or feels most natural

I go by feel on days and sometime have the db fall to the front and some times to the side.
 
Yup..dont worry about how much weight you use man..wussy or not, its working the muscles...The idiot standing next to you is prolly using the 35's and swinging them all sround and bouncing to get them up...while you are actually working the muscle... :) ...Its good shit...good luck in the program
 
Just did Back day and man I laugh at these laterals, they are freaking brutal in a good way. I have to really push mentally to do the 25 + 15 reps, can really feel the burn, I love it but I am crying and laughing while doing them it :p
