Dumbbell Flyes

OUCH!, I concider myself a knowledgable lifter, but db flyes are hurting my shoulders, what do you think it the cause of this? Getting the form is very hard I find...
 
why do you do them?

I'm going to be throwing in some cable flys.. light, just for chest streching to help me out. But i wont' attribute any growth from doing them.

If somethings causing you serious pain, don't do it. If you can bench, focus on that.

sounds good bro, but then Id only have 4 sets of flat bench, 4 sets of weighted dips, and 4 sets of incline dumbbell press for chest....

k thanks, tossing em, I dont even know why I put them in, but I dont like light chest day. I just do day on day off day on day off, chest tri, back bi, legs shoulders.
 
I know this shit. I have the same issue, pain comes from rot cuff but it really is inflamation between ligaments.

I had this 6 months, did every rot cuff execercise but nothing got better, so i went to see a doc and now i got bad chronic inflamation. Got a shot between them and see if this get better, if not i have to have surgery.

Stop the bench and OHP. They didnt hurt at all doing them, but obviously didnt allow healing to occur.

My shoulders only hurted when brining arms up beside me.
