Dude killed for breaking up a fight

Shit happened on another continent. There's enough crap happening in my immediate vicinity to keep me piss off.

just sayin'

I don't think the answer to violence is more violence.

Do you think a human that originally tried breaking up a fight is better off dead since he had no protection?

or

Do you think it's would be better that the two murderers who laughed after they killed him were dismissed from this world?

I think the man that tried breaking up the fight has every right to carry a legal firearm. What if he had a firearm and he was witnessing another man about to get murdered? What if that woman looking out the window had a gun and knew how to use it?

Happens all the time. Moral of the story: mind your damn business. The police get paid to risk their necks, let them break up fights. Lots of people who intervene in bar fights get stabbed and die too...I can think of two in this area and it's not even a big city environment.

Happens a lot. If the fighters seem like scums or gang-bangers, i do NOT get involved. Most i'll I'll dial is 911.

Too bad in Europe, cops are pansies and really bad at catching criminals. Most don't even have guns - if they saw a suspect on street, there's nothing they'd could do except radio it in.

when's the last time you were in europe?

No eastern Euro's mocking Americans concealed license rights now are they?

Also

You realize London is west of the entire European continent right? And the people you probably meant to refer to (Germans, french,Italians, dutch etc) are part of western Europe.

I really doubt Latvia, belarus and Estonia sit around and talk about our gun laws.

I hadn't heard about this story, but it reminds me of how angry I was, when I was in line at Costco in Simi Valley, CA, and watched a pregnant woman accidentally drop something on the floor. She was in Muslim attire, and a gentleman nearby saw her trying to stoop over to pick up whatever it was, and he patted her on the back and picked up the item and handed it to her, like any gentleman should do for any lady in the USA. The woman's husband knocked her down, and kicked her in the stomach because in their tradition, I guess the woman and child are tainted if any other man touches or makes eye contact. Next, two other men (one a Costco employee), beat the living sh*t out of the scumbag husband. I'm glad I was 300 feet away, or I'd have been arrested for being involved in the husband workover. When the cops came, the only two men to go out in handcuffs were the bystanders who beat up the husband, and since then, I was contacted by a lawyer regarding a huge lawsuit that the wifebeater/(God I hope not babykiller) has filed against Costco and the employee for impinging on his civil rights to practice his religion.

I appreciate it when I see someone take action to right a wrong, or to protect someone who needs protection... Bottom line is that a good samaritan is a hero, and sometimes heroes die, as in the OP's posting, or they go to jail unjustly. Whole thing is just wrong.

lol..that shit got thrown out in a second. big corporate lawyers vs mickey mouse mooslim lawyer in a frivolous lawsuit.

practicing religion doesn't mean you can ignore state and federal law.

So one person dying in a rare instance means everyone should get guns? This shit happens everyday in the US. It Happens almost never in Europe.

hmm that's interesting
