I am usually on the cop's side, but this is sad.

An off duty cop on his way to work kills four pedestrians and gets off with a $0 dollar bail.

I'm wondering what the hell a drunk cop is gonna do at work!!! RADAR

I was going to post what Radar said.......he was on his way to work..and he was loaded...I don't think he should of been released on an I-bond (not eye-bond) as someone else put it......however.. I believe the reason is that 1.The guy had no criminal record. 2. He has a home and family and is not a flight risk. He still should of had to post some type of bond in my opinion. I have a feeling that this cop may end up commiting suicide over this...his life is ruined......he killed 4 people..he is done.... and what about the people's families that died...... to find out your family member was killed in an drunken accident........by a police officer on his WAY TO WORK??!!! If this goes to trial I could see a defense attorney claiming that the cop was an alcoholic because of his job and that the department failed to offer or give him help......and thus the department and ultimately the city is responsible for the death of 4 people...... this should be an interesting trial.......if it goes that far

HE WAS NOT on his way to work.He stopped at a local strip club/bar for a "few".

The "few" turned into 50% OVER the legal limit and innocent people DEAD!

he blew a .16 , that twice the legal limit in Texas, and the fact that he killed people and no bail was set is disgusting.

If you get arrested for a mistomeaner drug charge, you are looking at $5,000

Most people in this situation would NOT even be given bail, they would be incarcerated until the trial, check the statistics.

This just goes to show you that cops are given preferential treatment in the criminal justice system.

He killed the driver who was 8 months pregnant and her son, so there is 3. And her sister was the passenger who also died. So 4 all together. The mother heard it all from her apartment.
