Drug Test

Hey guys, I did a search for this question, but never found a specific answer, so here goes:

I have drug test tomorrow morning and I just started a cycle. I gather that this company won't test for AS, but I had a buddy who failed his test (he was just coming off a cycle) for having a high protein count in his test for the same company.

Any idea what could have caused a high protein level? Why are they even checking protein levels?

And besides they will have to run several tests for anabolics,as not all show up on a specific test!

If you just started you may be ok,as the esters have not had time to build up.

Never heard of this.

High levels of creatin yes protein no.

Maybe I should mention that it was pre-employment/physical urine test. Could they have checking for medical conditions? Could he have just been lying and failed for another reason?

I have another good friend who just went to take this test yesterday and he watched them put a dip stick into the urine. He asked the tech what he was checking for with that, and the tech anwsered that he was checking his protein levels.

Just because one has high levels of protein in their system could contribute to several factors, but i have never heard of failing a drug test due to high protein levels, since when is protein illegal, hell most of the body's tissue is protein.

I do know this.

When i was in the army they used to do a protein test to see if you were a heavy alcohol drinker. There thinking was if you had High levels of protein in your piss it meant your liver was not metabolizing protein correctly. This is a common thing for people who drink a lot.

So they could be checking to see if you are a heavy drinker?

Corporations do not test for steroids. The test is to expensive. I would venture to guess it will just be a basic 5 panel drug screen. Thc, Opiates,Cocaine,Benzo,etc: Good luck
