I voted, "Only when a cop is around" but that's not totally true. That's the only time I THINK about using them. Otherwise all the time, it's just habit. I even use them when no other cars are around.

im Safety Sam on the road and use indicators/defensive driving pretty anally. im jealous of James Bonds car because he has guns/rockets that he could use to kill unsafe drivers, which would be cool

A lot of times I will use them correctly though, depends on my mood. I can be a real asshole sometimes.

When you constantly drive in excess of 120mph you need to rely on people using them, otherwise shit can go wrong VERY fast, imagine somebody cutting you off without warning at 130mph?

I only use them if there is a car behind me, waiting in the street that I'm turning onto, and if there is a car that is somewhat close in the lane that I am switching to. Never saw a reason to use them if there weren't any cars around. I also don't follow the no turn on red signs or no left/right turn signs. If the road is busy, I'll find another route. If there isn't a car around, I'm gonna do it.

you signal your intent to turn to inform the driver behind you you will be braking
and half the peeps brake,sometimes coming to an almost complete stop and then use the turn signal

I use them all the time. But they are never indicative of what I actually intend to do. They act as more of a fake out to other drivers.

I prefer not to telegraph my moves.

For me, the drill is to blow a shitload of diesel smoke on them and then call the highway patrol because someone is driving excessively over the speed limit.
