drinking on cycle

as yet i've not had a drop, but i most likely will be on friday night. will still be on my usual diet the next day and training wont be disrupted. is it likely to have a noticeable hinderance on my gains? i was planning on having no more than six double vodka/soda water's

im on 500mg sust p/wk, first cycle

Fucks up your protein sythesis for about a day from what ive read...is why i dont drink and i hit the gym hard dring the week...i dont give a fuck i drink on a friday night recoop for a couple days and hit the gym again...IMO its pointless to get all jacked if your not gonna go out hunting pussy..just my .2
 
If you plan to compete then don't touch alcohol. For the rest of us, its OK to relax once in a while with a few drinks. Your not going to magically lose two inches off your Bi's if you go out on a Friday night.
 
yeah well my routine pretty much fits in with that since i train through the week

so when you say it screws up your protein synthesis is that only really relevant if youre planning on training the next day?
 
Two fridays in the month I have a good drink with the boys!!
With the diet and training a couple of nights won't hurt!
 
I am a firm believer that drinking while on cycle can cause gyno ... almost everytime ive dranken on cycle I wake up with sore nips.
 
as long as your not drinking multiple times a week IMO its not a big deal. I drink once a week every Friday. as long as you don't go overboard its no biggie.
 
A couple of drinks here and there won't kill you or throw you THAT off-course... with the possible exception if you're competing.... just like the occasional cheat day for food won't throw you off (in fact, will probably do you more good)... definitely don't make the drinking habitual throughout the cycle, especially if on orals... (that includes A I's.... they can do a number on liver enzymes)

you should be alright. I have a few (sometimes a few too many) grey goose and red bulls every few weekends. i never noticed much hinderance to my gains.

imo the "best" drinks as far as cal wise would be vodka and water, jack and diet coke, captain and diet coke. I always start with those, but when i start to get drunk i start ordering beers which is probly the worst. But, i just love beer. But i usually try to keep to the liquor and diet cokes.
 
spirits are high in cals but in moderation its no prob,Low carb beer maybe, only downside is feeling bloated from it...

Aye Aye matey. Drink of choice here. I tend not to drink much anymore period. But if I do enjoy a drink for special events I will enjoy one of these.
 
yeah i know, its just that one my friends questioned me when i said i was gonna drink.. "really? i though you said you were gonna stay off it so you get the best results?"

i know it wont do any harm, just ive not seen any gains really yet so dont feel great about drinking when theyre just around the corner! anyway my decision.. and its only a one off lol
 
Cranberry vodka 3 drinks max is what I have when going out once ever 2 or 3 week doesnt affect me at all the next day.. During summer time when its scoarching outside i'll down a becks 0.1 % biere and I try to imagine its a heineken(fuck what i wouldn't do for a heineken right now)
 
drinking on cycle is bad. Drinking off cycle is bad. Hell drinking will kill your goals no matter what bro. Its effects ob protein retention alone kills you.
