Drink Gatorade while u work out?

your sig is funny as shit! i stopped with gatorade as it bloats the ever loving shit out of me. my stomache goes into another zipcode
 
your a bit off there..1 serving is 8 oz

i really like it during long training sessions (judo not lifting) you definately feel refreshed.. and regardless if its placebo or just water or what not it definately helps out..

i drink a ton of it during competitions just mixed with water and some protein

I don't use a high carb PWO shake. At that point I don't need anymore carbs. I use ISO AGB for PWO because it's carbless and has the Acetylated Glutamine.

This is what I do now while cutting.
If I am bulking then I use carbs PWO as well as during my workout. And that's not really for carb manipulation as much as it is to get more calories. I have a problem getting enough calories while bulking.
 
The bigger 8oz bottle has 4 servings in it, 14g of sugar per serving. I just didnt think all that sugar would be good for you. Or I guess it dont matter while u work out?
 
I prefer Powerade over gatorade myself, mainly for the flavor, though it also bloats me up as well.
 
I drink all kinds of stuff during my workout, right now I'm using a rehydrate/power drink called "Mercury"... the same guys that created Sobe drinks, sold the company to pepsi... their "no compete" claus with pepsi forced them to stay out of the business for 3 years. The contract has long expired so they just hit the market again with this new energy drink... the one I use is called "Mercury Speed" it has 150mg of caff per 20oz bottle. great to drink right before workouts.

I'm also going to order some "Torque" soon, I have heard some great reports from guys using it.

I avoid Gatoraide for a few reasons:
-It is at the top of the glycemec (holy shit I butchered that spelling) index. I am trying to lose bf. Candy spikes your insulin less!!!
-It has too many vitamins and minerals. It will actually dehydrate most people by clogging there filters. Learned that while at Dartmouth. They said to cut it in half with water unless you are a serious triathlete.

Can you call someone at Dartmounth and ask them what vitamins and minerals they are talking about? Because according to Gatorade there are none other than potassium. :)
