Ive been doing some reading on this, and it seems too good to be true. They talk about having very few "digestable carbs" and "protected carbs". Can anyone shed some light on this for me, has anyone tried this, would this be okay on a low carb diet? The ads also say it has a GI of only 13 and only 5 "digestable carbs" per serving?
 
Yes, and its all technically true... but google the stuff and you will find out that there is quite a bit more that to it than the box would indicate, it isnt like the carbs can be disregarded. They essentially fortify it with protein and more complex carbs to blunt the normal durum wheat, "white" pasta, insulin spike. So... despite the fact that it isnt quite what the Dreamfields marketing team makes it out to be - the nutrition facts dont lie! Its the best pasta on the shelves for my money.
 
A lot of people have slowed digestion of the carbs, but they still digest. A lot of diabetics started to eat it due to the way it was marketed and would check their blood glucose at various intervals and found a big spike about 3 hours later
