Does anyone NOT stick the pin through the rubber stopper?

I HAVENT in two cycles I have found no problems. Is there any reason I should stop this unpopular act?

I think he means that he takes the metal ring that holds the rubber stopper on and then removes the rubber stopper each time he draws so that he is left with just the glass vial. After he is done drawing, he puts the rubber stopper back on to store the gear.

I can't see any negative outcome except sterility issues if your not careful.

wtf? How do you get the metal ring off w/o breaking the glass?

The metal on the caps are thin. You can easily cut themoff. I have done this before many times.

Are you trying to save money on needles?

What is the purpose of this?

I'd just pour the shit if I took the cap off. Back fill in order to shoot through a slin.

Well I felt it would be MORE sterile! Imagine that! See if theres a hole in the top of the rubber stopper, it alows god knows what to get in... plus ive been worried about getting rubber in the syringe/ back into the vial...

And yes, I remove the ring with a knife.... and ive used a pen/keys to get it open before as well.

Nothing to do with money, its just been working for me. Thanks for the input guys.

oo, my boy did that and spilt about 3 cc's of deca by knocking it over, best thing 2 do use big pin then switch for smaller, they r cheap

the rubber stopped seals it self back up. now i could see maybe a problem witha large jug of 50cc . 50 pokes might make a hole big enough to let tainted air in. but witha 10cc vial not a chance the rubber is desighned to do just that seal the hole shut. the inside of the vial is equal air pressure to outside so its not gonna blow or suck anything in .
