Don't Read This !!!!

hhhmmm ???........again excellent advice, and certainly food for thought. I think from a personal point of view my main problem is
that while I don't see steroid use as a magic bullet I do think it could be a catalyst for some rapid gains, and at 36 it's the rapid part that appeals.....LOL. You are of course right in as far as I probably don't NEED to cycle to add 10 -15 lbs of quality mass, however, based on a risk/rewards assesment I wonder what damage I could potentially do on the above cycle taking the correct supps to protect my liver etc. You are probably right when you say that the potential for me to do a cycle (at some time) is high .........mainly due to my dissapointing natural gains so far. That is not to say that your advice falls upon stoney ground, your comments have certainly been read and re-read. I will certainly review my diet and training and wait and learn a little more before deciding whether AAS is correct for me.

BJ67,
Take it from a guy who is also 36 years old. I have had some extent of weight training since my early teens. More at times and lesser at others. I have looked the same while freinds were growing. I think it is all in my body chemistry. I can get and stay strong as hell but my biceps never seem to break the 17 1/2" mark. I could bench 400 in high school but still never had a massive or cut shoulders and arms. I have tried different variations and techniques of routines to no avail, although I am now working on some lifts from Nelsons book and I think I will see some benifits from them....I still feel as if I am stuck. I eat clean and I do a minimum of 300g Protein ed....I will try a cycle as soon as I am convined of which AAS is right for me. I am not encouraging your use of AAS but I can understand where you are coming from bro.

You lost me already. You don't need that much protein to grow, and your anabolic drive could probably benifit a great deal by replacing a good deal of that protein with low GI carbs.

BJ67,

I think you should do it. I would do even less Deca, though--pyramid from 100mg to peaking for a few weeks at 200mg and back down again. You will see very good gains working out 4-5 times weekly with good diet. You have to realize the mentality of some of these people--body building is their job in many cases so mental and physical preparation is very important to them. If you want a kickstart then to the Deca/D-Bol at low doses so you have no sides. Get a workout partner, though--one that will push you to failure. Good luck.
