Steroid ology is a lot milder board. Nelson has learned how to turn a thread that exposes his goofy ideas into a flamefest and then it gets locked. He's actually very good at it.
It will go something like..
Nelson: Cutting estrogen levels in half is dangerously unhealthy in men.
Poster: Nelson, there is no literature that shows that short term lowering of E levels in a man is dangerous to their health.
Nelson: Why do you have to be such and asshole of course it's dangerous, you're an idiot. I lowered my E levels in half and I felt threatened so it has to be dangerous.
Then a few posts later the thread is locked. I'm not saying it shouldn't be locked, it's just that he's learned how to manipulate the board this way. Here the conversation continues well into the flame stages that Steroid ology puts a stop to. THAT'S why he's there and not here. It's easier for him there. I don't think they're wrong, I don't think Elite is wrong. It's just an observation.

I think it all was a setup gone out of hands.

this was HIS board yet it got plagued since day 1 by a$$holes wanting to stir troubles splitting hairs, EG you go on a christian board & stir troubles saying lord Jeetz never existed & the december 25 is the birthday of the sun/ the son of Mithra & whatever.
Which is by far accurate ( december 25 is equinoxe/ once said the birth of the son of Mithra, himself born in barn ).
However i'd see no point in doing it.
If owners sided with troublemakers, they ought to never allow this board to start.
If not so, how comes it took ages for them to ban the troublemakers; yet as soon as Montana showed up elsewhere, he got banned?
Perhaps it was just a set up to plug PF's product; now that's not anymore needed.

he did have some detracters, true. he also incited most everything that he got, whether it was a year ago or now. i sure dont approve of everything that people say or do to him, but his posts and his attitude are very shady.

While some of Nelson's basic medical science info was inaccurate, his knowledge of supplements is keen. There are only a couple of guys that know their supplements, and I believe, that he is one. Remember, Nelson is not trained in the basic medical sciences. He speaks from his vast experience and observations. He also stays on top of the supplements he recommends. So, give him credit where credit is due. The problem with the Internet BB'ing boards is that people are too quick to teach and not willing to learn.

I did it via Internet for the past three years. Because of financial considerations, I have had to scale back the business and pursue other endeavors. I have posted tons of info at elitefitness over the past three years. Feel free to do a search. I never became a mod, for I was always too busy. Maybe when I retire from working...in 20 years.
