I've lurked for a while here guys and have read PLENTY. When I think I have it figured out several threads and "experts" send me in a totally different direction. So...I'll point blank ask for help.

6' 235/14% 39 y/o and trained my entire life. You guys are going to call BS but I eat very clean and by all standards under eat. Generally eat less than 2500 cal per day. I have to run my ass off to drop bf.
Last summer I ran Beast/Kat and it was my first "cycle"ever. Got hell of a lot stronger and gained 12 pounds. May of this year I ran 200mg Test Cyp every 5 days for 12 wks. I felt like a effn teenager again!!!! Only put on 8 pounds but did cut 3-4% bf. Finishing up Clomid and 500iu HGC 2xweek. Don't feel like I really needed it.

Questions:
At the low dose of test, can I run it longer than 12 wks or so?
Is the PCT needed really? If so was I on the right path?
I can feel the heat on this one...Tren...why is it so tabboo to the new user? I have enough Test Prop to run 100mg eod x 12 wks and Tren to run 75mg eod x 12 wks. Should I run the test alone one more cycle then try the Tren? Other than a LITTLE acne, I had no sides from the test.

I would not do this because recovery will be much harder if run any longer.
Is the PCT needed really? If so was I on the right path?
PCT is lways needed after any AAS cycle. Think you would have been better off HC generate unleashed and postcycle.

I am a huge fan of Tren. However I would not add this compound at this stage. It is taboo becuase it is a very harsh compund that can shut you down hard. Just trying to help.

id stick w/ test at 12 weeks. maybe up the dosage a bit.

main thing would be to focus on diet and pct. why do you think you could skip the pct? or did you mean just the hcg?

if you got good results w/ that cycle run it again and just improve on the diet/training and the pct.

12 weeks is long enough and will still allow a good recovery.

also if you felt great on it i definitely wouldnt add tren.. especially so soon.
 
Thanks for the advice. May save the Tren/Prop...BUT I have seen it completely change guys body. I am wanting to get sub 10% for once in my life. Even through months of CrossFit and half-marathon training I didn't get below 12-13%. I have access to Mast also but all the reading suggests get my bf down before running it. But the only reason I want to try it is to get my bf down lol!! I could care less about any more strength. My knees, shoulders and elbows already scream at times. If I could hit 230-240 at 10% I'd be very satisfied.
 
cutting is 90% about diet/cardio not about the drugs.

test only is a great way to cut. just get YOUR diet and YOUR training on point and you will be fine.

Start a food log... take PICS of EVERYTHING you eat and post it online or on a thread here. Great way to constantly make progress.
 
You could have other stuff going on if you cant lose fat as well. High E levels, high cortisol etc. Another big red flag when trying to cut is eating too little and 2500 cals a day isnt shit for a guy your size who is active, your body is starving so will hold onto fat stubbornly.
 
First off, noobs shuld never be afraid of asking questions, even if they could search. There's always new information and opinions. I often tell people who suggest doing a search that EF is a message board, not a library. Everyone is welcome.

As to you questions, you;re better off doing a higher dosage for a shorter amount of time instead of a lower dosage for a longer amount of time. Think of it this way -- is it better to curl 50 pounds 10 times or 10 pounds 50 times?

As for PCT, it helps, so why make things more difficult on yourself. A natty PCT doesn't hurt -- it can be done even as a boost for a natty. It's silly to avoid it.


Tren is not designed for human consumption. It has many unknowns. It has nasty side effects. One thing is certain -- it is incredibly effective for building muscle and burning fat, but it's regarded as "not a healthy " choice. It stands to reason you should have some AAS experience before trying it.
 
All advice passes all of the common sence tests and is backed by all of my readings. Thanks again and I will take it all in and adjust fire as needed. My natural test level was 524 before I took the Test in June. Going back next week to have blood work again. I can bitch about bad genes with the weight but doesn't change anything. When I was 17-18 and playing on a SE regional select soccer team and the best shape of my life my cholesterol levels were through the roof. I've been on a statin RX since I was in my 20s. AD military with a highly stressful job too. Guess the cortisol levels would be UP THERE also???? Anyway...use training and all the sex I can stand to level me out haha. Looks like Test alone another order from Needto for PCT. Oh...and I'll TRY to up my food intake to around 3K a day.
 
A diet based just on calories is not effective. Be sure your diet is refined and broken down further.
