upon delivery of funds, correct? I sent overnight Express mail from USPS. Tracking said It got there the next day and "first attempt a note was left". Why would they leave a note if there`s no sig required???

Is`nt the same thing gonna happen today? lol

Then it says "If After 2nd (failed) attempt we will hold 5 days then return to sender."

Express requires a sig (I believe)....tell the recipient to call his PO and OK the delivery without a sig......

Theres a box on the Express envelope to check if you DON`T require a sig. Then you have to sign it after checking the box... I did that.

Is it normal practice to get a sig? I assumed they (recipient) did`nt want to sign/receive anything personally. I figured as long as there`s a tracking number... I was good.

don't forget who you're dealing with hear.....PO workers....they've fucked up so many things it's surprising mail even gets delivered.......no offense to anyone here that works for the US postal service but things do get fucked up quite often.....

I always check no sig required with express mail. I still have full tracking and delivery confirmation.

Sometimes the postal worker screws up and thinks they need sig. A phone call may not be needed, but if it doesnt deliver today then I would call.

if expecting a domestic package, there shouldnt be any problem signing.

the only instances where you might get in trouble signing for a package is if the feds are watching the source and planning on setting up a bust, or when/if a package looks suspect... oil leaking.

Well, So much for "overnight" mail. LOL I sent it Saturday morning 9:30 and it`s Monday 6 PM... Nothing yet. Tracking shows nothing but "first attempt failed", "Note was left" Why the hell was a note left??? "If NO sig required"???

I`m assuming the postal guy just overlooked the checked box on "no sig required" and hopefully will straighten it out today. It`s the first time jitters for me.

You are getting worried for nothing...I had one with the EXACT same thing last weekend...Though mine HAD to sign for it...

It sounds like you filled everything out properly, but sometimes they wont just leave it there without someone claiming it...like at a house (PO workers do it for me :D)

I`m not hitting the panic button yet. the thing is they left a note of "First attempt" wtf? Leave the damn package when it says NO SIG REQUIRED!!! lol

It`s more eagerness than worry. ya know... lol

Is is going to a PO Box or a house? I am guessing a home address?

Though even at a PO Box they may not leave it in there...Alot of my express packs they leave notes in there....
