indeed...and the one thing that he seems to consistently overlook when he's coming off the bottom...fucking 7 year olds...

Indeed, control the wrists and ankles; Ankle/leg control is much more important IMO. I would always use my my right or left leg to control their left leg...lace it in and break them down.

he's good at lacing the leg and he would rather bump the elbow and get crossarm wrist control than chop the arm...it's the starting off the bottom thing where sometimes he looks like he's been doing it for 10 years and other times the wheels just fly off the bus...like i said...fucking 7 year olds :rolleyes:

I didn't start wrestling until Jr. high , he'll have a great base if he continues.

From the top position I would always go for an arm bar tilt, I wrestled for points, I only had a handful of pins.



Tilts and leg turns were my bread and butter.

he's partial to a crossarm rogers tilt...bump the elbow, grab the wrist with your tight-waist hand, other hand clenches the bicep, hip over to the elbow side, forehead to your opponents knee, roll through and catch and elevate the trailing leg...hold...1-2-3-4-5...roll through...wash-rinse-repeat until the period ends or you lose the wrist or you point out a tech fall.
