domestic ordering

I just found out that if you have had an international order seized by customs, it is not wise to even order domestically to the same address. It seems that the U.S.P.S may x-ray packages going to a previously flagged address.

Either is a toss up,plus if a domestic source is raided you most certainly do not want your name on the order list in the computer.

RADAR

how can you keep you name form being in their computer? I sometimes worry about that. Do most domestic sources keep records like this?

If they get popped by no fault of my own - I don't want them to come knocking on my door next!

If you have a smart source, you shouldn't have to worry about any of this.

This is very interesting. How did you find this out?

How solid is your info.? I can't imagine the postal service has the time and manpower to, not to mention equipment, to x-ray domestic mail, even in the case of flagged addys. How would they determine which flagged addys to x-ray, as in what type of infractions? Most gov. entities don't share info. well as it is. The postal service has trouble just running the mail they have, much less x-raying domestic packages in coordination with customs based on flagged addresses. Unless this info. is from a super reliable source, I doubt its accuracy. They may x-ray in extreme cases, but I'd bet these are limited to incidences where there is an active case and reasonable suspicion, not simply at random or wholesale on flagged addresses. I think this is beyond what the postal service is capable and/or willing to do. Thank God for that, but if you're really worried avoid flagged addys, though again I wouldn't sweat it.

Who cares. just keep a clean house. I dont think cops are going to go after everyone your source has shipped to.
Thats like saying the cops are going to bust down your door because some guy sold you a sack of weed 2 years ago.
I dont think they care about little shit like this

I found out the info from a domestic source. I was considering ordering from him & mentioned that I had recently had an international package seized.
He told me that he has had this happen to customers in the past. Here is the text of his email

Actually, the US Postal Service may check even your domestic mail
if you had an international seizure at your address. If your
address is flagged, they may x-ray even a domestic package and then
take it, it has nothing to do with customs. We actually have had a
few domestic packages taken and in every single case, the customer
later told us they had an international package seizure before. So
since you had a seizure, you would have to order to a different
address, perhaps a friend's address or someone else you know and
trust. The address must be clean.

My attitude is that it's better to be safe than sorry especially the way things have been going.

Found out some more info from domestic source:
It seems that if you have had an int'l delivery seized and then order domestically to a new address (after moving), if you have had your mail forwarded from the old addy to the new addy, the USPS may still X-ray the domestically ordered package based on the fact that because of the mail forwarding addy, they still 'know' it's you. This is mere conjecture on the part of the source, but again, better to be safe than sorry.
Man, if this is true, the gov't is alot smarter than I thought :)

do you think they have enough man power to look at specifically your packages
even if there is such a thing as a "flagged" address, they will not be looking for your package.....sorry but your not that special
its the luck of the draw
i have had 6packs seized and still use the same address.....and much more have gotten through than seized, and i just got one a few days ago
i mean i hear stories of people getting arrested just for one pack or after several packs
it just depends if they pick your name to raid....you know how many people have their packs seized a day
on 2 of the packs that i had seized i didn't even have a customs letter
its good if you believe and follow that saying "better safe than sorry" but come on theres a point where some people are just paranoid
