Doin deads and squats?

ouch, talk about being sore this morning. I decided to do deadlifts yesterday with my regular leg workout. I think doing 5 sets of barbell squats, 4 sets of barbell front squats, and 5 sets of deads really tore the crap out of my body. Anyone else do deads with their leg workout? I think i might break up the two so i won't feel totally dead the next day.
 
Yeah, that's quite a bit in one day. I would alternate between squats and deadlifts on leg/lower back day. In my opinion regular (back) squats are better than front squats.
 
I do deadlifts on back day and stiff leg deadlifts on leg day...it rules man...of course don't overdo it or you'll be lying in bed for a few weeks :(
 
The way I currently split it is this. Quads day I do squats and do no hamstring work at all.
Then 2 days later I do my deads with back and hams.
