Does using steroids at a young age really affect hormones later in life?

18 start 20 now only ever do low dose but no problems as of yet. I know im a hipacrit(if thats how you spell it?) but im ready to take the long term sides if it goes wrong if your not then stay natty for as long as you dont see gains. I just try to keep as safe as pos. its never a good idea to start so young.

I know its old tread but I like to comment xD

In my experience, as long as you know how to lift correctly, know the fact that eating will build muscle not roids, AI, PCT, and everything else, you are pretty much in good hand. Taking steroids is just taking a risk to get a benefit. If your so worried about later life and long tern side effects, your not ready for steroids, regardless of your age. Me, however, im at the point where Im waaay too obssessed about bodybuilding that I gave up growing any taller, having relationship with girls yada yada yada. I was researching PCT and chemical properties of steroids when I was 12, just to give you how serious I was. When I turned 18, did a nice Test-E 500/week for 12 weeks, finished with PCT, gained nice 15 pounds and kept all of it. Now that im 25, i have been off the cycle for 3 years, and my hormone level is noraml, all my intestines fucntion properly. Only thing thats diffrent than other average 25 yo peeps is that Im way bigger :D

old thread that was bumped but i will chime in and say the sooner you start, the sooner you will go on HRT.

if you are gonna juice young and then stop juicing then whats the point of juicing young? the facts are people who commit to bodybuilding and start juicing will not stop juicing because the gains and fun you have on the sauce make it too fun not to. so its better start at a later age.. it is not expensive to buy a bag of creatine and some protein powder and a 30 a month gym membership. once you get into AAS, supplements, PCT, ancillaries, needles, bac water, hcg, and all the other shit involved with cycling its gets expensive as shit. so i dont see how someone at 18 who starts juicing is doing themselves any favors. take that money and invest it into your college education or a business and wait till you are older.. you make 400 bucks a week working at best buy and waste all your money on spinning rims and juice.. its stupid IMO

^ Yep, this. Look at Arnold, or any former pro that has had to stop juicing - they look terrible.

If you're going to stay ON for the rest of your life then you may not have problems, otherwise, you should wait.

Stallone looks pretty damn good for an old man

If you weren't done growing, you are now.

You don't even need roids at that age. Your nat test should be plenty high for gains. At your age, i got myself up to 180lbs/10%body fat... 5'8" and was benching 330 and squatting 420 naturally. I made easy gains until my mid 20's. The difference is that you have to really work for your gains. I was keeping up with my friends who were juicing, simply because I was committed to making the gains on my own.

Studying long term effects of AAS use is impossible, simply too many other factors involved. You have genetics which could predispose you to low test as you get older. You have lifestyle, diet, work, exposure to various chems over the course of your life etc. The only way to get any decent, and I say decent because it would also be subject to many outside variables, would be to raise thousands of people in a controlled environment all eating the same food over the course of an extended period of time, say 20+ years. Just isnt feasible.
