Does this sound smart......

...My plan is to be strong and ripped this summer. Since I know it's very hard to stay lean and get stronger I'm dieting hard core right now. Right now I'm 210 11%bf. Since the begiining of this week I've only be consuming about 2500 calories(still high protein) and have been running two miles eod. My plan is to keep this up for the next two week at least and see where I'm at. I've already lost almost five pounds. I'm still lifting hard and haven't really lost any strength yet. In a few week I'm going to be starting my cycle and although I'll be weaker, I'll also be a lot more cut. Is this(dieting hard before a cycle) what most of you guys do before a cycle in the summer. Once the cycle starts I plan on eating a little more, but still with a fairly low calories intake. How does this sound to you guys??

P.S. This is my first time trying to get cut up. It sucks, I hate getting weaker.
 
I think dieting is good before a cycle. You body will be ready to absorb all of the nutrients you put in it when you start your cycle. the extra calories in themselves will cause an anabolic effect.

Yes, but don't go to far, or at least go into maintenace for a week or two before your cycle.

Steroids can lower your immune system, dieting hard right before can make it worse making you more likely to get ill.

So far you are still okay at 2500 cals, but don't dip into low carbs and 1800 cals or so. Make sure you are getting all your vitamins brother!( A little Hogan for the Fans). Don't cut dairy completely out of your diet, have a cup of milk or some cottage cheese.
