I have a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for about 9 years and speaks Arabic fluently. He said the conversation that Bin Laden was having on that video tape had nothing to do with Sept. 11. What do you think?

uhhh, with the amount of arab speaking people in this country......I have to think that he was talking about what they say he was. If he wasn't, than one...just one, arabic speaking person could point out the falseness of those claims. Maybe what he was saying in the video was being "taken out of context" and open for interpretation. But I'm sure the "actual" dialogue is accurate.....it HAS TO BE!!, or the U.S government would make itself look very, VERY stupid!!

And for the most part, Americans are stupid when it comes to government, and politics. Most do not even know half of what goes on in DC. Nor do they care. Anybody who will vote for somebody just to keep another idiot out of office is a dumbass.....just don't vote. I can tell by the lack of responses to political threads, and also the responses of some members on the political threads, they don't have a clue.
A uneducated voter, or American is the best friend of the government. Musclebrains mentioned a book written by a guy who noted the psychology used by the government to sway the public to their cause......it was written quite a few years ago....and if you were to read it now, it's the same thing all over again.
The tape is a moot point, if you really have the evidence to prove it, why do you need more public approval? it is designed to rouse up the country, again. No matter what you tell the Muslims, they are not going to believe it. So what, or who are you trying to convince? I bet there will be more surprise findings to place other countries as terrorists sponsors in the near future. However, despite all the evidence against Saudi, (circumstantial, some) there is a lack of cooperation from them, and money trail from Saudi to bin Laden. The Saudi sheik/cleric is on the tape, but Bush has yet to denounce Saudi as a suspect in aiding and abetting. Yet he is using no terrorist links to challenge Iraq for a war. What happens if Iraq lets him in, (they'll hide the bioweapons before they do let the inspectors back in) and they cannot find the chemical weapons, only evidence that he did produce em. Do we bomb them?
The tape is just to help set the stage for the *big event* that is in store for us.

The media is simply a venue for the government to help break the news of what their plans have been in the making. The current plans being presented are the plans set as a solutions to play the hero in fixing something rather the antagonist in starting something.

No part of the government has been blamed for what happened, not even the INS. They have been restructured, but less than two months after they made a terrorist state list public, they allowed 14 Syrian nationals to come over for flight training school. and BO, posted an article yesterday where they're giving tours to people from another terrorist sponsored state.
