Is there any specific functions that go hand in hand with the body producing its OWN testosterone? If your on TRT are there any side effects to your body not producing its own Testosterone and instead injecting foreign test?

As long as the T is in your bloodstream it'll do what it needs to do. Having said that, I think it's best if one's HPTA isn;t completely shut down. Even if it's putting out only 50-60 ngs,(in conjunction with the TRT) it's working. And you tend to feel better when that's the case.

Of course, but if dosages are kept around 100mgs a week, you wouldn't necessarily be completely shut down.

I've always been curious as to what the mg. per week would be through injections versus applying gell ed.I know it would depend on the dosage per pump of the gel though.

If you notice any "shrinkage" and that bothers you, or you have fertility concerns, talk to your doc about HCG. 100mg/wk TRT can shut you natuarl production down, or down enough, to have a noticeable difference.
