Does that electric Ab thing work?

Does it work? I seriously doubt it! Want a 6 pack? Then I think you need to watch the diet and do sit ups.

What one are you looking at?
Go to t-mag.com, and search for EMS. They say they do work, but I really dont think just sitting on your ass will get you a 6pack.

Maybe they work if you already have a 6 pack! If its hidden under a layer of fat then I don't think any amount of electrical stimulation is going to do any good. It's snake oil!

Promises 2" off! Who promises 2" off? Read the fine print. Probably says you must also watch your diet and do sit ups.

Wow... that contraption was seriously invented for lazy fat people. Want abs?? Ok get off your butt get to the gym and do some freakin crunches and cardio...and watch what you eat!!

This machine is not capable of spot reducing fat on your abdomen. To get a six pack your body fat needs to be around 10% or lower, although some people can achieve the look with higher. It's cardio you need to do, but I'm sure you won't since you've disregarded the other messages against purchasing this machine.

Need some input, thinking of getting it.

IMHO EMS machines are useful when injured to help stimulate muscle fibres. Real muscle can only be increased by resistance training, but it does work on stimulating abs. It will not aid in weight/fat loss, spot reduction doesn't work, and since seing abs is 95% fat loss ... you see my point? if your doing cardio already then just throw in a couple sets of ab work in there and save money. BTW why are you cutting in the winter?

BTW, i'm trying to get my 6-pack in before Christmas time.

Ask santa for the six pack.

IMO diet is just as important as any machine.

work out and diet, whos to say that cant help tone though, just dont neglect to work your abs when working out though

wtf tone. I am starting to hate that word.

Muscle - fat = toned

Go pump the colored weights for an hour, so you can tone.

Tone is probably rooted from a some latin word meaning "to do nothing"

"whos to say it can't help you tone" how do you tone? you saying its going to do cardio for you? Does it come w/ dnp or something?

That machine is the same as twitching, thing those people w/ nervous twitches get jacked from twitching all day.

I got one last year and sent it back. It is nothing compared to situps. Don't get one. It is a messy waste of money. You have to wipe gel and shit all over your stomach, and replace the belt very often. Its not worth it. And it won't get you looking better faster than abs. They supply you with diet pills anyway. That's the secret. Abs arent' hard to get. Its the low body fat.

Ha ha, I just saw the abtronic infomercial this morning. A lady says "It can work your legs too, it's better than squats"
Well, not exactly like that but I know she says the EMS thing is better than doing squats. WHAT BS!
Save your money man, don't fall for the BS

ems machines work best if used after training as a final stimulus. on abs, they do work to harden the abs, but not as effectively as a good ab routine. i used to use my 6-pad system for abs when i didnt want to train abs. it helped but it is kind of a hassle (need water on skin, straps, staying in position,...) but it did help to harden the abs. other body parts require some mental work because they will contract in a big way and you cant watch tv too well when this is happening, ems are ok but IMHO you would probably be better off saving your dough
