That implies that testosterone incerases the risk of prostate cancer, which I do not believe is supported by any evidence. Sure test/DHT can lead to prostatic growth and test/dht can cause growth of malignant cells but what evidence do you have that exogenous test increases the risk of prostate cancer?
Well, my point wasn't specifically about endogenous test... but I did read on the American Cancer Society's website regarding ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) and in a nutshell, it explains that the goal of this therapy is to lower levels of male hormones (androgens, mainly testosterone) because they stimulate prostate cells to grow - I'm sure they are not considering exogenous sources of test... it doesn't matter whether the test is natural or supplemented... they also state that this isn't a cure for cancer, just a treatment
so I'm not an expert in this, nor do I have studies to back up what I had written.... just relaying what I had read from ACS.org
