GWL9, perhaps you should acquire some common sense (not sence, like you so eloquently spelled it). Muscle growth can indeed be limited due to the constrictive tendencies of the connective tissues that surround them, primarily the fascia. How the hell do you thing the individual muscles stay in their set place? do you think muscles just float around the entire body? No, muscles are connected to the bones via tendons and are virtually wrapped by the fascia. If the fascia can be stretched somehow, these 'bags' of sorts will leave more room for the muscle to further the possible growth process. This is one of the arguments in favor of extreme stretching of the muscles being worked between and after sets. Effective fascial stretching is also a likely result of repeated localized injections of certain oils in specific muscle groups. The longer the oil stays within the muscle and the higher the amount injected to fill the space between the fibers, the more likely it is that the oil will stretch the facia before it finally is metabolized. This is the proposed and sound hypothesis of how synthol-like products can actually lead to real muscle growth over time in an indirect manner.
