Does ice help lessen injections pain.

My last couple of quad injections have been really painful. Test cyp. If I numb the area with ice b prior to injecting, would this help. Or is it a matter of if you hit a nerve it won't matter how numb the area is....

I am on my first cycle, one week in. So this is just based on my experience...

Unless the pain is from the needle itself, I don't think ice would help. My first shot was on my quads, and I was not able to walk normally for a couple of days, it felt as if my quads were gone...

After that experience, I started using my glutes, and I am amazed on how little pain/soreness I have.

One thing you could try, is to warm up the loaded syringe before the injection. It does seem to be less painful. I used a microwaveable heat pad. But you can always use the uncooked rice on a sock trick, it works just as well. Just be careful, oil-based juice can burn your muscles if you get it too hot.

Virgin muscles would always be more sensitive, though.

Good luck, post any updates so others can learn different techniques.

No do not use ice, for several reasons.
1. You will cause the suspended chemical crash, this is a crystalyn structure and will cause more pain and the pain will last a few more days.
2. You need blood to help get the oil and the chemical injected into the blood stream.
3. Heat is perfect for painfull injections.

If you are injecting a short ester, get yourself some sterile grapeseed oil and for every 1ml of injectable add 1ml of gs to the barrel and then the injection will be painless.
Try using a 25 guage needle.
Do not massage the area after injecting this will cause the oily substance to be forced out of the little whole you just poked into the muscle and will be more difficult for your body to absorb.

Make sure your not doing it wrong. Text cyp shots shouldn't hurt at all. Prop and sus hurt a lot.

Check out spotinjection.com they show you how to pin and what gauges work best. Or google some videos on injecting.....

And btw I don't know what your cycle is or how many times you are pinning in a week, but don't inject in the spot in the same week. Delts/quads/glutted. Total of 6 spots. And are the easiest to pin.

This way you won't get scar tissue.

Workout that muscle also. helps get blood flow to it.

Yep that too. I like to inject in glutes on leg days or days i do 1hr cardio.
