the spiced part is a bit of sugar yeah. gives it that sweeter flavor.

I bought that stuff once, thought it was a ripoff, tasted just like the regular version to me.

the alcohol was way worse for you than the carbs though lol

um, yeah it does, but if you;re counting cals, consider that alcohol has 7 calories per gram, which means your typical bar drink with liquor in it contains way more calories than a light beer.

Alcohol also slows your digestion.

Either way, if you're trying to eat healthy, drinking = 0, or you're just fooling yourself.
 
if your gonna booze it up while dieting just stick with clear hard liquor. clear alcohol like vodka is a natural diuretic and has no carbs. i did a double shot of grey goose along with my steak and then another double the next day after prejudging.

You should be ok.

Not counting calories, watching carb intake. Trying to stay under 20gm/day.

Anyone know just how much is in there? I had about the equivelant of 3-4 shots last night.

Actually a light beer usually has 95-100 calories, and a shot of vodka has 60. So if you drink vodka with club soda (0 cals) you're better off.

Yep agree about digestion, your body burns the alcohol before the food, so more likely to store the food.

Also agree you are kidding yourself if drinking while trying to eat healthy. I happen to kid myself a lot on the issue.

I'm honest with myself. My diet sucks. However, I exercise 2x a day: 3-5 mile run in the AM, weights at night.

That's my trade off.

Was sort of joking, lol. You have me beat on the exercise regimen. I'm only in the gym 4x/week. Treadmill?

And hey did you ever find out any more research on that stuff about lifting too heavy causing heart problems? Was that true?

And I am not drinking regularly while dieting or trying to stay healthy, I just happened to have some diet Pepsi and Captains in the house and it sounded good. Prpbably wont do that again for a while but it sure was good!
