does anyone work on dodge engines "360"

I won't lie, I am a chevy man, but I bought a 2001 last year just to get something different. Anyhoot, these 360 block suck ass for power. I didn't know if anyone had good tips for extra horsepower, I already have straight pipes, K&N air filter, in a month I am getting a new chip for it. What else can I do for more power?? Will a new starter and or distributer help? I don't know anything about dodge engines, or what works best on them. Any help is appreciated!!

shift points, HA, the shifting sucks ass!!!!!! Does that cost a lot? I know it needs it. There is a speed shop here in town, this is the kind of thing they do, will they know where to set it at, or will I have to buy some kind of chip or program? thanks bro. How much faster can the feul injection be sped up??

the shifting and the EFI can both be reprogrammed in the trucks master computer.

I think you can buy an adaptor and the computer program to install in a laptop and then do it yourself. Last time I checked it was about $400 for the adapter and the program. As far as doing the work.. you will have to check around. Call the spped shop and ask them if they do that kind of work and ask them to point you in the right direction.

Dballer... Correct me if I am wrong... but I think the chip he is referring to will change the shift points, timing, and EFI. I don't think he can change them w/ the set up you described and add a chip[ to.. the chip is programmed to work w/ or offset the factory settings. I don't think he needs both as he was suggesting in his previous post.
