Thinking Of Using Proactive To Avoid Acne Wondering If It Worth Purchasing Or All Hype??

I use it and it works great but there was a post about a week ago and it said there was some stuff at walmart( acne free might be the name) that is just as effective and alot cheaper.

proactive system works...but it's a pretty easy formula to follow without spending alot of money. You can even create your own regiment

You need a good anti bacterial cleanser (preferably with salycidic (sp?) acid)

You need a good toner or exfoliator, which are basically the same thing

And you need a good, fragrance free moisturizer....

My ex GF used it to control her acne and it didn't do anything and then she used the actual proactiv and it didn't do anything. She may of just been that random 1% but thats my 2 cents worth. She got Retin A and acne is GONE.

it works but like someone elsehere said there is now a cheaper version available at major pharmaciesincluding rite aid, cvs and like he said walmart

i have used proactive many times in the past and it works great for my skin....i have also tried the walmart stuff. it works but the proactive just seems to work better on my skin. i have very sensitive skin to break outs and it just seemd to work great
