Does anyone know why EQ causes anxiety?

Over the last few days I've heard over and over (mainly from searching) that EQ either can or 'will' cause anxiety. The only answers I'm getting as to the question of why it does or could is 'because of the increase in RBC and high blood pressure'... but this doesn't make sense. I have never before heard that an increase in RBC causes or is a precusor to anxiety... and as for the high blood pressure - how would that cause a neurological condition such as anxiety?

If anyone knows more indepth information regarding EQ and anxiety... such as the 'type' of anxiety it causes (examples, etc - I mean are we talking panic attacts here or what...) or how EQ can or 'will' cause anxiety, please let me know. Thanks guys...

it depends on the user, maybe that "anxiety" is only the effect of accelerated metabolism that it promotes

I didn't know EQ raised your metabolism...

It's funny, I am prone to anxiety and panic attacks, yet most gear that is supposed to exacerbate these feelings have no effect on me. Eq doesn't touch me and test actually makes me calmer.

It gives me anxiety as well. You should get Macro in on this. He can probably give some possible reasons for it.
