Does anyone here use an Automatic Grind & Brew Coffee maker?

My husband is very particular about his coffee beans. We keep ours in the freezer for ultimate freshness. I just bought the grind & brew so I wont have to grind those bitches every morning but I want to make it even easier and put the beans in the night before and program that sumbitch to start at 7am. But my husband doesnt want the beans sitting out overnight like that. Does anyone else do this?
 
It's actually probably a good idea that you put the beans in at night to let them thaw a bit. I grind my beans every morning, but I don't keep them in the freezer anymore, just the fridge... I've gone through a couple grinders from when I used to freeze the beans, made the blades super dull.

Somehow I get this feeling you make the best cup of coffee, ever.
 
I love coffee and make a killer cup here is a little tip for the best tasting coffee always used distilled water coffee taste so pure and yummy then.

Good stuff as for the beans I grind them up and take them out the morning when I make my coffee. In the past when I had a coffee make with a timer I would put the grinds in the night before taste good to me. Lummy sounds pretty perticular about his coffee.

notice i said HE buys it/ I aint going anywhere NEAR fuggin walmart. in fact, he's at walmart right now picking up some stuff.

yeah Im a good bitch. I get up early to make his coffee and protein shake every morning. i dont even drink coffee or protein shakes lol

the French press is the BOMB. makes best coffee EVER. I LOVE coffee, love it.
i'm a convert and will never go back to auto drips.

if it's something peep's want to try, you can go to Starbucks or coffee bean and order a press just to try it.

I have 3 myself.... one is actually a travel mug with the press built in.

Only way I make joe...
 
I have a burr grinder/auto coffee machine....makes the best coffee...if i'm not using that, it's the french press.

and there's really no benefit to keeping beans in the freezer or fridge....in fact it just forms condensation when you do grind the cold beans.....

all you need is an airtight container....i used to do the same thing. if lummy is that picky about coffee, you guys should check out the coffee maker I linked up there.

Where do you buy ur beans?


I remember RottenWillow aka taint girl used to buy green coffee and roast it herself.. I ain't going that nuts.. but I do want to get some good whole beans..

i don't go crazy with it.....i'll buy any decent whole bean coffee.....and try this and that when I see something that sounds good. I'm sure some coffee snobs would poo-poo my choices.....but whatever, I got better shit to spend my time and money on. Trader joes has a variety of good shit.

i saw some coffee experts on the early morning show or some show like it talk about it.

Because the coffee grounds are in direct contact with the brewing water, coffee brewed with the French press captures more of the coffee's flavour and essential oils, which would become trapped in a traditional drip brew machine's paper filters. French pressed coffee is usually stronger and thicker and has more sediment than drip-brewed coffee. Because the used grounds remain in the drink after brewing, French pressed coffee should be served immediately so as to not become bitter from over-extraction. A typical 8-cup French press is considered expired after 20 minutes.
