Does anyone who meets in a bar/nightclub ever actually call?

Shit, I am as culpable as anyone else -- I have gotten many a number and wound up picking its fragments out of the dryer lint-catcher two days later. It still doesn't make sense, though...

People say, "if you put out, he'll never call," and I think there is truth there, but it isn't like the guy is going to call if you don't put out, either. He is going to look for someone who will put out, and then, he won't call that person either...

It is true on the other front, also, girls never call. If a guy gives a girl his number, it winds up on the floor in some other dudes bedroom the next morning.

I am so sick of all of that shit... really I am... from now on, I will cathect the music, and transcend all of this petty bullshit.

depends on the scenario, I guess. Hell I don't even get thier numbers most of the time, I just go for the email address. Sounds lame but for it's easier for me to leave an email that talk on the phone with someone I don't know, plus I hate talking on the phone. Besides you can always edit an email, not the case when you're talking to someone on the phone or leaving a voicemail. Man I've left some stupid sounding voicemails for some girls, I'm sometimes amazed that they even call back after some of the lame shit I said.

I get their numbers because I'm in the moment. But the next day when I'm not buzzed up or I can think clearly, then I don't feel like callingl.

But then I usually do call just cause I got a number on hand. Why let opportunities fly.
