When they run for cardio that someone is giving them paper cuts inside their knees?:worried:

i guess is its scar tissue tearing away from old injuries or something?

VERY CATABOLIC and HORRIBLE FOR YOUR JOINTS.

Try other forms of lower or non-impact aerobic activity. Your joints will thank you BIGTIME.

Try walking uphill on the treadmill, using the stairmaster (rolling stairs) or eliptical.

Have you ever tried a rowing machine?!?

Running is TERRIBLE for the body PERIOD.

True story. When I used to personal train I would half-joke with my clients about having more sex. I would say it light-heartedly but meant every word.

The husbands (bf's) LOVED ME when I would advise their women to get jiggy w/their S/O more often as it burned so many calories.

mild pain the next morning is probably nothing more than your body's reaction to this new stress (assuming that you haven't been running for a while). . .nothing major.

however, moderate to significant pain could very well be a sign of something more pervavsive. . .like articular cartilage damage and/or arthritis. . .i'm only 42 and i need two new knees.

if it persists, go to a doc and get it checked out (mri, etc.). . .if you do have a problem, the earlier the intervention, the better off you'll be. through rehab, synvisc and a bionicare knee device, i've been able to buy myself a few more years. . .and my squats and deadlifts are back up to levels that i haven't seen for 5 years. . .although my depth is curtailed. . .i never go past 90 degrees with weight on my back.
