LOL....no offense, but if that avatar is actually a picture of you, he won't have to test anything to know that.

The doc might ask, but its all in confidence. There are guys here though that'd be able to give way better advice than I could. I only know that your doctor is sworn to silence as part of his oath with anything you tell him, or he finds out in the course of treating you.

yea man, they can't do shit man. Imean look at it this way, my ex gf turned me into the cops and i hid all my shit, shredded any records i had, and i still got away, i was lucky enough to have friends that would risk getting into shit for me. Anyways youll be fine, i went to the dr trying to get test perscribed, and get my blood drawn, and i weighed 35lbs more then i did 3 months before that during my last visit, and he never said anything.

no. b/c by the time the test results come back your sample is long gone---and as long as you are getting blood taken, tell him you use gear so he orders the rights tests to make sure all is okay.

docs are not your enemy--may get a lecture--mine just raised an eyebrow and laughed and said its better than being fat, smoking or drinking....

Doctor's confidentially is not absolute like lawyers. Dr can release information if asked by a judge, he is mandated to inform if he suspects child abuse, even inform police or concerned party if his patient is going to harm someone. In a psychiatrist's office, when a patient says that he has thoughts of harming himself, the first call goes to police to committ that patient. There are also public health disclosures that are mandatory (reporting of certain diseases).
There is one pretty open permission or authorization you sign: If your insurance company is payfing for your visit and tests, then the insurance company has the right to ask for doctor's complete notes and all the diagnoses. Insurance company can share medical records with their subsidiaries. They can also use that information to change your premium rates.
You may advise the doctor not to provide information, but then your coverage may be denied. He can not 'sanitize' the record and remove some information; that would be falsification of data and is illegal.
