doctor check-up before cycle?

what type of stuff should I get checked out? liver values, test, heart?

I've done cycles in the past and never had blood work and such done afterwards. I did a cycle over the winter and want to start another in a couple weeks. I'd just like to get checked out first. In case past cycles have caused stress on my heart or somkething I dont want to kill myself on another cycle. I sometimes get heart palpatrations, so I'm sort of worried about that.

Hey,

Here's what you need:

Liver function tests (bilirubin, PTT, INR)
Liver enzymes (AST,ALT)
Fasting lipid profile (HDL/LDL, total Cholesterol)
Complete Blood Count

And if you plan on using t3 or hgh:

FSH/LH
TSH
Prolactin
Serum testosterone and estradiol levels

Get these tests done before you start and at the end of your cycle. That way you can determine the damage you have done over the course of your aas use/abuse and if the risk is acceptable to you for future cycles.

The first group of tests are easy to get without telling your doctor that you are using/abusing aas, just tell him you have a family history of high cholesterol and liver disease (say your uncle has high blood pressure, cirrhosis, and high cholesterol).

As for the second, you could complain about a lack of energy, or say someone in your family had a pituitary tumor or acromegaly or something and you want to get checked out just to be sure.

Or you could be up front and say, "hey, I'm going to injecting myself with supra-physiologic doses of various testosterone-like compounds and I'd like to know how bad I'm fucking my endocrine system". Ha ha, that would be funny.

Anyway, hope this helps,

Tholdren

Agreed. Great plan! The office will tell you what the acceptable ranges are once your results are in. This is the best way to take the most educated risk.

Yes!

If you have heart palpitations/ arrythmia you should be taking medication anyway, as your chances of heart complications increase exponentially.

GET BLOODWORK NOW!
